You can compost using worms both inside and outside, so its perfect for homes with a garden or small apartments. All you need to know is what the worms like to eat, and what they don’t, how much to feed them, and when to give them some time to munch through what they already have. For our food scraps we store them in a counter top compost bin. When full, we put them through a food processor to make the pieces as small as possible. If the worms are ready for some food we add it to one corner of their home. If not, we freeze in a reusable bag until they’re ready for their next meal. For things like citrus and other waste like flowers, or cuttings I simply add them to a bucket outside with a little compost starter and soil, and allow to break down over time. The most important thing is that you find something that works for you!
