TaqMan Universal DNA Spike In Control
Read independent reviews on TaqMan™ Universal DNA Spike In Control from Thermo Fisher Scientific on SelectScience.
TaqMan Universal DNA Spike-In Control serves as an exogenous process control of a known concentration that is spiked into a sample at specific stages throughout the qPCR process. Measuring the concentration of the spiked-in sequence allows for its use as a serial quality control and it can be used to monitor recovery efficiency and to identify false negative results such as the presence of PCR inhibitors in molecular detection workflows. This is of particular importance when working with sample types that have a high level of inhibition.
