Use little tricks. See the user manual for better use of the forehead thermometer. The temperature reading is impeded by hair or sweat. Ensure there is no obstruction on the forehead. Distance is 1.2-2.2 in. Measurements should be avoided in febrile patients with sweaty foreheads, cold compresses and other cooling measures, which may result in low readings.
