The Messermeister Sharpening Angle Guide Set is a simple and effective way to maintain the perfect edge angle when using a whetstone. Simply clip the angle guide to the spine of your knife and maintain contact with the stone throughout sharpening. Ceramic skates glide smoothly across the face of the whetstone keeping the proper distance to reproduce our 15-16 degree factory edge. Use the large guide for blades wider than one inch. Use the small guide for narrow blades. Angle guides can be used on any type of flat sharpening surface including both water and oil stones. Whetstone sharpening just got a whole lot easier!
