The Ambient Air Temperature Sensor (ATC) is a negative temperature coefficient sensor (NTC) that informs your vehicle and the in-car temperature censor the temperature of the air outside. This enables your Automatic/Semi-automatic temperature control system to adjust the temperatures and blower speed of your vehicle. When there is a problem with your Ambient Air Temperature Sensor, your BMW's compressor or AC system may not function properly.
