Our dishes feature hand-drilled drainage holes and raised nodes to prolong the life of your favorite bar of soap. After all, a consciously chosen soap deserves a meaningfully created dish. Available in: dusty lilac, peach, pistachio green, powder blue, mustard yellow, white, charcoal gray, and indigo. As each is handmade some variation is possible. Each piece begins with raw sheet glass that has been cut down by hand and assembled in an electric kiln. The glass is then heated to approximately 1500 degrees Fahrenheit to melt it into shape. Once the soap dish is cooled, drainage holes are hand drilled, the piece is then sandblasted and re-fired to achieve a soft matte finish, called a "fire polish".
