The Canada native’s big break came when he starred as Berg on NBC’s Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. The show enjoyed mild success until it was canceled after four seasons in 2001. Since then, he was featured in a number of romantic comedies, including 2003’s The In-Laws, 2005’s Just Friends and 2008’s Definitely, Maybe. Reynolds was previously engaged to Alanis Morissette before he married Scarlett Johansson in September 2008. They announced their separation in December 2010, finalizing their divorce in July 2011. More than one year later, Reynolds married his Green Lantern costar Blake Lively in September 2012. The couple welcomed daughters James and Inez in December 2014 and September 2016, respectively. Us Weekly confirmed in October 2019 that Lively gave birth to their third daughter months prior. Her name, Betty, was revealed on Taylor Swift‘s 2020 album Folklore. Reynolds and Lively are currently expecting their fourth child. The Deadpool star became a U.S. citizen in 2018. Along with his acting career, Reynolds is a successful entrepreneur. He acquired Aviation American Gin in 2018 and joined the board of Match Group two years later.
