Primitive cooking pot with a beautifully darkened, matte exterior over warm Cappadocian fire undertones. First bisque fired in a traditional kiln, later followed by open firing with local hardwoods under high winds. With our two step process we create pieces with a variety of color gradients, patterns & textures. The second step of open firing hardens the pot further & produces a uniform, resilient surface. Each piece is one of a kind, aesthetic variations are to be expected. Each piece is made with primitive methods from scratch, & will not be as uniform as molded or turned pieces. You will surely bring a new flair to your favorite dishes with this simply natural pot! Made from heat & fire resistant Cappadocian clay. Dishwasher safe, but please take care to not use cleaning agents as they might be absorbed into the porous clay structure. Lid Included.
