I remember making Christmas candy with my mom using one of these thermometers. We made divinity, taffy, and popcorn balls. Her thermometer didn't have this awesome turquoise wooden handle though. I do not know if this still registers the temperature properly. The metal part has some vintage wear, as you would expect. Marked by the maker, "Taylor CANDY AND JELLY THERMOMETER, Made in U.S.A. Designates Soft Ball, Hard Ball, Soft Crack, and Hard Crack. 1940's-60's. 11 3/4" long x 1 3/4" wide. Please note: * These are all vintage items.
