This armoire was painted in a velvety black and backed with a pretty print paper for an elegant surprise each time you open the doors. A matte gold finish to the hardware adds additional class and contrast. I imagine this used as a bar perhaps or of course traditionally as an armoire in the bedroom or guest room, as a hutch in a dining room or even as storage or a statement piece in the living room or entryway. It is made of composite materials, not wood. As such, it is very STURDY, but not high original quality.
