Antique Cast Iron Universal Food Chopper No 3 which was made by L.F.&C., New Britain, Conn. USA. This meat and sausage grinder has a wooden knob handle and it has a cast iron metal clamp which would help it attach to your table top or counter. It shows dark toning and light rust which is flaking a bit. The handle does turn easily, so it is in working condition. It also states PAT. Oct. 12, 1897, APR 18, 1899. Measures 11 inches in length x 4 7/8 inches wide. The handle length is 11 inches and the knob is 3 3/4 inches. The opening for the meat is 4 7/8 inches x 4 inches. The face where the sausage comes out is 2 5/8 inches in diameter. ******Weighs over 7 1/2 lbs. Item is magnetic. All items ship insured from Coatesville, Pennsylvania. If choosing Priority Mail and Priority Mail International then the package is insured through USPS. All other shipping methods that are not through USPS Priority Mail are insured through a third party insurance. USPS insurance (and claims) only covers Priority Mail packages.
