Completely made and painted by hand. Cooked at 1150ºC. **Lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe.** "Cruz" is a well-known family from "Puente del Arzobispo" in the province of Toledo, in central Spain. For many generations this family has made pottery. The whole family works, brothers, brothers-in-law and children. The older brother Emilio is the director, but his father and mother still help out by making and painting pottery. The men make the pottery and the ladies paint it. You will see a very particular style, it is known as the “lace” style. Everything is painted with fine brushes, with a great intensity of designs and colors. It takes a long time to make a piece, as you can imagine.
